Things worth keeping.

Ghana remembers plenty. It records very little of it properly. The Store Room is where the fragments get identified, sourced, connected and put somewhere they can be found again — with the gaps left visible instead of papered over.

NSMQ contestants, 1994–2026

The names of the students who actually sat behind the buzzers. Across the 13 contests of the 2026 championship — the most heavily covered season in the competition's history — published sources name 1. This box is nearly empty, and that is the point.

Why bother

The official NSMQ past-winners page lists the winning school for each year and nothing else — no contestants, no scores, no dates, no venues, no round detail, and twenty-five years of regional history simply absent. A day after the 2026 final it still had not been updated.

Meanwhile the record rots in public. One outlet called Pope John "2021 champions" in one article and "2001 winners" in another the same week. Another placed St. Peter's third on the all-time table with three titles; Mfantsipim has four. Our own tally of 31 contested editions reconciles exactly, which is how you can check us.

So: keep the receipts, show the arithmetic, mark the holes. That is the whole method.
